PERSONALITY Jackson is a man that always has a storyy to tell, or joke to reveal to those around him. Jackson is the epitome of care free, and not giving a damned whether he hurts some ones feelings or not. Jackson is deeply loyal to Finley O'Brien, having both saved Finley's life, and Finley having saved his life more than once, but refuses to be apart of the machinations of the mob family. Due to an injury received at Passchendale, Jackson has difficultly talking without a slight rasp in his voice. HISTORY Jackson Reed was born in Wyoming, in the United States, when was 14 he was sent to Cascade academy, where he excelled at Defense against the Dark Arts. However due to health issues, Jackson spent much of his time in the infirmary, until he was 16. It was during one of these stays that he met Finley, and the two struck up an instant friendship. When Finley dropped out and left for Europe in 1914, Jackson followed the following year. Through out the war, the pair were inseparable, that was all the way until the battle at Passchendale in 1917. AS usual, they were making a raid at night, two teams, to try and rig the German trenches with explosives. Jackson's group was discovered, and in the ensuing fight, he was stabbed through the neck with a bayonet, and left to die. In the middle of the fight, German pioneers used gas grenades on the position of Jacksons team, and he was affected the worst of his men, unable to reach his gas mask, Jackson inhaled and absorbed the toxic smoke directly into his blood stream. He was sure that he was doomed for, until he heard a familiar voice shouting, and a sudden thunder of guns, and grenades. After the firefight was broken up by Finley's group, he blacked out. When Jackson woke up two days later, he could not speak or see, and it hurt to breath. The worst part though, Jackson could not use any magic, no matter how small the spell. For three days, Jackson laid in bed, his bandages, and sheets stained by sweat, tears and blood. Never before had Jackson felt so low, and useless. His only saving grace was the constant visitation of Finley, and their fellow Raiders. THree months later when his vision had returned, and he could talk, Jackson was discharged from the English forces, and immediately enlisted into the French air force, refusing to give up fighting, while his friends were still there. After the war, Jackson stayed in France, keeping his position in their air force. Did you read the rules? |
